Petition to Keep Jobs in Milan, TN

Summary and background: American Ordnance is proposing to move production operations from Milan Army Ammunition Plant to their ammunition plant in Middletown, Iowa. Moving these operations would result in the loss of some 600 jobs and have a devastating impact on the social and economic health of Milan, as well as the State of Tennessee.

Action Petitioned for: We, the undersigned, oppose any effort to move munitions production operations from Milan to Iowa and urge our leaders to take immediate action to support the continued production of ammunition at the Milan Army Ammunitions Plant.
